Connect your Intercom workspace to Goodweek to manage conversations, contacts, companies, and support tickets directly from your AI workspace.

ℹ️ Governance note

Goodweek will never exceed the access levels granted to the user within Intercom, guaranteeing alignment with your organization's governance policies. Outcomes and available features may vary depending on each user's specific permissions and authenticated access.

📋 Prerequisites

Before any user can see and connect the Intercom integration, your organization admin must first enable it from the Goodweek Admin Panel under the Integrations tab.

Admin Setup

⚠️ Intercom Admin required to connect

Only users with the Admin role in Intercom can authorize OAuth connections. Standard teammates (non-admin users) cannot complete the connection flow — they will see a permissions error when attempting to connect.

If your organization wants non-admin teammates to use the Intercom integration in Goodweek, an Intercom Admin must complete the connection on their behalf, or the Admin must first grant the teammate an Admin role in Intercom under Settings → Teammates → [teammate] → Role.

User Connection

  1. In Goodweek, go to Integrations.

  2. Find Intercom and click Connect.

  3. You will be redirected to Intercom, where you will be asked to sign in and authorize access.

  4. Click Authorize Access to grant access and return to Goodweek.

Important Notes

  • Each user must connect their own account individually.

  • The connecting user must have Admin permissions in Intercom.

  • Goodweek can only access the Intercom data that your individual account has permission to see within your workspace.

  • You can revoke Goodweek's access at any time from Intercom → Settings → Integrations → Installed apps → Composio → Remove.

Troubleshooting

Permissions error when connecting

The account attempting to connect does not have Admin permissions in Intercom. Only Intercom Admins can authorize OAuth connections. Ask your Intercom Admin to complete the connection, or grant the user an Admin role in Intercom under Settings → Teammates → [teammate] → Role.

Integration not visible in Goodweek

Make sure your organization admin has enabled the Intercom integration from the Goodweek Admin Panel under the Integrations tab.
