Connect your Egnyte account to Goodweek to manage files, folders, shared links, users, groups, and permissions directly from your AI workspace.

ℹ️ Governance note

Goodweek will never exceed the access levels granted to the user within Egnyte, guaranteeing alignment with your organization's governance policies. Outcomes and available features may vary depending on each user's specific permissions and authenticated access.

📋 Prerequisites

Before any user can see and connect the Egnyte integration, your organization admin must first enable it from the Goodweek Admin Panel under the Integrations tab.

Admin Setup

The Egnyte integration uses OAuth 2.0. No admin-level approval is required for user connections. However, some tools — such as managing users, groups, folder permissions, and audit reports — require Egnyte Administrator permissions. Regular users will have access to file and folder tools only.

User Connection

  1. In Goodweek, go to Integrations.

  2. Find Egnyte and click Connect.

  3. You will be prompted to enter your Egnyte domain (e.g. yourcompany from yourcompany.egnyte.com).

  4. You will be redirected to Egnyte, where you will be asked to sign in and authorize access.

  5. Click Allow Access to grant permissions and return to Goodweek.

Important Notes

  • Each user must connect their own account individually.

  • Goodweek can only access the files, folders, and data that your individual Egnyte account has permission to see.

  • Admin-only tools (user management, group management, folder permissions, audit reports) require an Egnyte Administrator account.

  • You can revoke Goodweek's access at any time from Egnyte → Settings → Applications → Composio → Revoke.

  • Share files and manage access. Create shared links for files or folders with expiration settings and control folder-level permissions for users and groups directly from Goodweek.

  • Manage users and groups (admin). Create users, update group membership, and manage Egnyte domain users directly from Goodweek — useful for IT admins handling onboarding and offboarding.

  • Run and review audit reports (admin). Generate file activity or login audit reports and retrieve their results from Goodweek to monitor compliance or investigate activity without logging into the Egnyte admin panel.

Troubleshooting

Some tools are not available after connecting

User management, group management, folder permissions, and audit report tools require Egnyte Administrator permissions. If you connect with a standard user account, these tools will not be accessible.

Integration not visible in Goodweek

Make sure your organization admin has enabled the Egnyte integration from the Goodweek Admin Panel under the Integrations tab.
