Connect your GitHub account to Goodweek to manage repositories, issues, pull requests, and workflows directly from your AI workspace.
ℹ️ Governance note
Goodweek will never exceed the access levels granted to the user within GitHub, guaranteeing alignment with your organization's governance policies. Outcomes and available features may vary depending on each user's specific permissions and authenticated access.
📋 Prerequisites
Before any user can see and connect the GitHub integration, your organization admin must first enable it from the Goodweek Admin Panel under the Integrations tab.
Admin Setup
The GitHub integration uses OAuth 2.0 and does not require any admin-level approval for personal repositories. However, accessing GitHub organization resources may require additional steps.
⚠️ GitHub Organization OAuth app restrictions
GitHub organizations can restrict which third-party OAuth apps have access to organization data. If your organization has enabled OAuth App access restrictions, a GitHub Organization Owner must approve Composio before users can access organization repositories and resources:
Go to your GitHub organization → Settings → Third-party access → OAuth App policy.
Find the Composio app and click Approve to grant organization access.
This restriction is enabled by default on new GitHub organizations. Without approval, users can connect their personal GitHub account but will not be able to access any organization-owned repositories.
User Connection
In Goodweek, go to Integrations.
Find GitHub and click Connect.
You will be redirected to GitHub, where you will be asked to sign in and authorize access.
Click Authorize to grant access and return to Goodweek.
Important Notes
Each user must connect their own account individually.
Goodweek can only access repositories and resources that your individual GitHub account has permission to see.
Access to organization-owned repositories requires the organization owner to approve Composio as described above.
You can revoke Goodweek's access at any time from GitHub → Settings → Applications → Authorized OAuth Apps → Composio → Revoke.

Troubleshooting
Connected successfully but organization repositories are missing
Your GitHub organization has OAuth App access restrictions enabled. A GitHub Organization Owner must approve Composio from the organization Settings → Third-party access → OAuth App policy.
Integration not visible in Goodweek
Make sure your organization admin has enabled the GitHub integration from the Goodweek Admin Panel under the Integrations tab.
