Connect your Discord account to Goodweek to send messages, read conversations, and manage servers and channels directly from your AI workspace.

ℹ️ Governance note

Goodweek will never exceed the access levels granted to the user within Discord, guaranteeing alignment with your organization's governance policies. Outcomes and available features may vary depending on each user's specific permissions and authenticated access.

📋 Prerequisites

Before any user can see and connect the Discord integration, your organization admin must first enable it from the Goodweek Admin Panel under the Integrations tab.

Admin Setup

The Discord integration uses OAuth 2.0 and does not require any admin-level approval before users can connect.

User Connection

  1. In Goodweek, go to Integrations.

  2. Find Discord and click Connect.

  3. You will be redirected to Discord, where you will be asked to sign in and authorize access.

  4. Review the requested permissions and click Authorize to return to Goodweek.

Important Notes

  • Each user must connect their own account individually.

  • Goodweek can only access the Discord servers and channels that your individual user account is a member of.

  • Server management and admin-level actions are only available if your Discord account has the corresponding server permissions, governed by your role within each Discord server.

  • You can revoke Goodweek's access at any time from Discord → User Settings → Authorized Apps → Composio → Deauthorize.

Troubleshooting

Connected successfully but cannot perform certain actions in a server

Discord server actions are governed by your role within each server. If you receive a permission error, verify that your Discord account has been assigned the appropriate server role by the server owner or admin.

A server is missing after connecting

Goodweek can only access servers your Discord account is a member of. Verify that your account has been invited to and accepted the invitation for that server.

Integration not visible in Goodweek

Make sure your organization admin has enabled the Discord integration from the Goodweek Admin Panel under the Integrations tab.
