Connect your Calendly account to Goodweek to manage scheduling links, events, and availability directly from your AI workspace.

ℹ️ Governance note

Goodweek will never exceed the access levels granted to the user within Calendly, guaranteeing alignment with your organization's governance policies. Outcomes and available features may vary depending on each user's specific permissions and authenticated access.

📋 Prerequisites

Before any user can see and connect the Calendly integration, your organization admin must first enable it from the Goodweek Admin Panel under the Integrations tab.

Admin Setup

The Calendly integration uses OAuth 2.0 and does not require any admin-level approval within Calendly before users can connect.

⚠️ If your Calendly account is connected to Microsoft 365 / Outlook

If users in your organization use Calendly with Microsoft 365 Single Sign-On or have their Outlook calendar connected to Calendly, they may see an "Approval Required" or "Admin consent required" prompt during the connection flow. This is caused by Microsoft Entra ID requiring admin consent for the Microsoft Graph permissions that Calendly requests (specifically Calendars.ReadWrite.shared), and is not related to Goodweek or Composio.

To resolve this, a Microsoft 365 Global Administrator must grant tenant-wide admin consent for the Calendly app in Microsoft Entra:

  1. Go to the Microsoft Entra admin center at entra.microsoft.com.

  2. Navigate to Enterprise applications → search for "Calendly".

  3. Open the Calendly application → Permissions → Grant admin consent for [your organization].

  4. Make sure "Consent on behalf of your organization" is selected before confirming.

User Connection

  1. In Goodweek, go to Integrations.

  2. Find Calendly and click Connect.

  3. You will be redirected to Calendly, where you will be asked to sign in and authorize access.

  4. Click Allow to grant access and return to Goodweek.

Important Notes

  • Each user must connect their own account individually.

  • Goodweek can only access the Calendly event types, scheduled events, and availability that your individual user account has access to.

  • If your organization uses Calendly Teams, team-level data is only accessible if your Calendly role includes the appropriate permissions.

  • You can revoke Goodweek's access at any time from Calendly → Integrations → Connected apps → Composio → Remove.

Troubleshooting

"Approval Required" or "Admin consent required" when connecting

This is caused by Microsoft Entra requiring admin consent for the Microsoft 365 permissions that Calendly requests. A Microsoft 365 Global Administrator must grant consent as described in the admin setup section above.

Connection worked before but now shows "Approval Required"

Calendly recently added the Calendars.ReadWrite.shared Microsoft Graph scope. The admin may need to re-grant consent to include this new scope. Follow the steps in the warning section above.

Integration not visible in Goodweek

Make sure your organization admin has enabled the Calendly integration from the Goodweek Admin Panel under the Integrations tab.
