ℹ️ Governance note

Goodweek will never exceed the access levels granted to the user within LinkedIn, guaranteeing alignment with your organization's governance policies. Outcomes and available features may vary depending on each user's specific permissions and authenticated access.

📋 Prerequisites

Before any user can see and connect the LinkedIn integration, your organization admin must first enable it from the Goodweek Admin Panel under the Integrations tab.

Admin Setup

The LinkedIn integration uses OAuth 2.0 and does not require any admin-level approval before users can connect their personal LinkedIn accounts.

⚠️ LinkedIn company page and partner verification

Some LinkedIn actions — such as posting on behalf of a Company Page or accessing company page analytics — require that the user has Administrator or Content Admin access to that Company Page in LinkedIn. Additionally, certain LinkedIn Marketing API features require LinkedIn partner verification, which is a separate approval process managed by LinkedIn. Contact your Goodweek administrator if you need access to these features.

User Connection

  1. In Goodweek, go to Integrations.

  2. Find LinkedIn and click Connect.

  3. You will be redirected to LinkedIn, where you will be asked to sign in and authorize access.

  4. Click Allow to grant access and return to Goodweek.

Important Notes

  • Each user must connect their own account individually.

  • Actions on LinkedIn Company Pages require that your LinkedIn account has Administrator or Content Admin access to that page.

  • You can revoke Goodweek's access at any time from LinkedIn → Settings → Data privacy → Other applications → Composio → Remove access.

Troubleshooting

Cannot post to a LinkedIn Company Page

Posting on behalf of a Company Page requires Administrator or Content Admin access to that page in LinkedIn. Verify your role under LinkedIn → Company Page → Admin tools → Manage admins.

Some LinkedIn Marketing features are not available

Advanced LinkedIn Marketing API features require LinkedIn partner verification. Contact your Goodweek administrator if you need access to these features.

Integration not visible in Goodweek

Make sure your organization admin has enabled the LinkedIn integration from the Goodweek Admin Panel under the Integrations tab.
