Connect your Asana account to Goodweek to manage projects, tasks, teams, and goals directly from your AI workspace.

ℹ️ Governance note

Goodweek will never exceed the access levels granted to the user within Asana, guaranteeing alignment with your organization's governance policies. Outcomes and available features may vary depending on each user's specific permissions and authenticated access.

📋 Prerequisites

Before any user can see and connect the Asana integration, your organization admin must first enable it from the Goodweek Admin Panel under the Integrations tab.

Admin Setup

The Asana integration uses OAuth 2.0 and does not require any admin-level approval within Asana before users can connect.

User Connection

  1. In Goodweek, go to Integrations.

  2. Find Asana and click Connect.

  3. You will be redirected to Asana, where you will be asked to sign in and authorize access.

  4. Click Allow to grant access and return to Goodweek.

Important Notes

  • Each user must connect their own account individually.

  • Goodweek can only access the projects, tasks, and workspaces that your individual Asana account has permission to see.

  • You can revoke Goodweek's access at any time from Asana → My Profile → Apps → Composio → Revoke access.

Use Cases

  • Create and update tasks from conversations. Add new Asana tasks with assignees, due dates, and project associations directly from a Goodweek conversation, without switching to Asana.

  • Review project status and task lists. Retrieve tasks for a specific project, section, or assignee from Goodweek to get an overview of progress or identify what's outstanding.

  • Log status updates on projects. Post a project status update to Asana directly from Goodweek after a team meeting or weekly review, keeping stakeholders informed without navigating Asana.

  • Search across your workspace. Find tasks by keyword, assignee, tag, or due date across your entire Asana workspace from a single Goodweek conversation.

Troubleshooting

Some projects or tasks are missing after connecting

Goodweek can only access projects and tasks your Asana account has permission to see. Verify that you have been added as a member of the relevant project.

Integration not visible in Goodweek

Make sure your organization admin has enabled the Asana integration from the Goodweek Admin Panel under the Integrations tab.
